In June of 1998, work with Bill Aucoin (longtime manager of KISS) led to a signing with Halfmoon Records in Greenwich Village, featuring Alan's artistry on two compilation CDs titled, "Discover New York City In Music."
Alan's presence on the web began in January, 1999 - with a site of his own design: AlanHorvath.com ... his performances encompass the Northeast US and, occassionally, Austin, Texas and Los Angeles, California.

Horvath's most recent release is a CD of 10 songs based on J.R.R. Tolkien's trilogy, The Lord of the Rings - a project that has received praise over the years from notables like David Bowie and Bernie Taupin. I played Austin, TX in '96 as part of the Austin Songwriter's Assoc. show ... and, prior to 1995, I opened for Deana Carter at Nashville's 12th & Porter.
Doug Weston's Troubador, in Los Angeles, holds some tender memories for me, because it was my "home" in '69, '70, and '71.
